As a life long resident of Connecticut, MJ graduated from Bentley University, Waltham, Massachusetts in 1986 with a BS degree in business management and and MBA from the University of Hartford, West Hartford, Connecticut in 1994. She is also a 1999 graduate of the Repperts School of Auctioning, Auburn, Indiana and adds the title of Real Estate Auctioneer to her resume. She holds the prestigious CCIM designation as well as the CRS and CRB titles.
Besides working diligently in her career she takes time to volunteer in the community. She is a member of the New Britain-Berlin Rotary Club, Past President and current board member of the Central Connecticut Association for Retarded Citizens, Past Vice Chairman of the Foundation for Special Care and has served as a director on the board of the New Britain Community Mental Health Associates.
She also has a special place in her heart for rescue animals. She works with the Friends of Berlin Animal Control in sponsoring pet awareness days and featuring adoptable animals in her newsletter. She has adopted cats, rabbits and dogs from local shelters.
Finally, she has a passion for rowing and belongs to three community rowing programs; Riverfront Recapture, in Hartford, Blood Street Scullers, Old Lyme and The Pettipaug Rowing club, Essex. She's has competed in several head races and had the honor of racing a 2x at the Head of the Charles, Boston, Massachusetts in 2010. MJ is licensed to sell real estate In Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
